Toosii Follows College Dream to LSU as Wide Receiver after Syracuse Fallout: “I’m Proud of Me”

Congratulations to Double Platinum RIAA certified hip hop artist, Toosii (Nau’Jour Lazier Grainger), as he has officially been added to the Louisiana State University (LSU) football roster for the Fall 2026 season. He is enrolled as a freshman and will be playing the wide receiver position as #89.

He shared the news in multiple posts on his Instagram page, one in which he captioned:

“If nobody told me, I’m Proud of ME 🙏🏽
🐯 Geaux Tigers”

The news comes months after he decommitted from Syracuse University in late January, after the coach reportedly did not fulfill the expectations of their agreement, which was for them to pay his college expenses in support of his education.

LSU is located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which has a total enrollment of over 43,000 students.

Their football team ended the 2025 season with a 7-6 record.

We wish him the best in this new journey.
