We generate custom music charts for our playlists, for music characteristics that are commonly overlooked by major streaming platforms and charts. We focus most on the listening experience of the user vs the number of sales, and concentrate on what songs music streaming listeners are most likely to hear when listening on shuffle play, as this is how the vast majority listen to their favorite playlists.
We utilize Spotify©‘s shuffle play feature for generating our charts, as we have found that it is the most fair to the artist, because it is the most random compared to other streaming services, which generate shuffle plays based more on the fan’s prior listening patterns. Less than 50% of average music listeners purchase premium music subscriptions, according to Luminate.

Tue Ten Music Chart
First 10 shuffle played tracks every Tuesday. This chart is currently only available as a niche playlist for “SaTown Hip Hop”, which showcases San Antonio, TX Hip Hop artists, curated for the website, SaTownHipHop.com. Follow #TueTen music charts on SaTown Hip Hop’s social media pages.
San Antonio’s primary area code is 210, hence the ”Tue” (for the 2 in 210 and Tuesdays, the day of the week that the chart is generated) “Ten” (for the 10 in 210).
