4-time Grammy award-winning Pop/R&B artist and #1 most streamed Spotify artist in the world, The Weeknd, has donated $350,000 through his XO Humanitarian fund, to help the people of Jamaica in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, which made landfall as a Category 5 storm near New Hope, Jamaica, on October 28th.
The aid will come via the World Food Programme, and is anticipated to help 200,000 Jamaicans with food and other aid resources.

His foundation has contributed and pledged $6.5 million to help fight world hunger.
