T-Pain Reveals He Sold His Music Catalog for “100 Years Worth of Money”

Six-time Grammy winner, T-Pain, was trending again this past week after recently speaking about selling his music catalog during an interview on Club Shay Shay’s podcast.

The deal was made public in February earlier this year with HarbourView Equity Partners and included publishing and select masters.

He said that it was worth what he calls “100 years worth of money”.

This year marked 20 years of his chart-topping hits such as “Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin’)” and many more.

T-Pain after selling his music catalog:

“I’m excited for this next chapter and to partner with HarbourView Equity as they help preserve the legacy of my music…

…This catalog represents years of hard work, creativity, and unforgettable moments, and I’m grateful to see it continue to reach new heights. I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.”

During his interview on Club Shay Shay, T-Pain was also asked whether he would ever perform at the SuperBowl. He said he would not due to having over 15 years of hits. He said it would be hard to choose what to perform and would be “too much pressure”.
