Portsmouth, VA artist, Kelo Soul (KELO.), has been trending this week, after J. Cole let him freestyle for him at Waterside in Virginia. Cole was vibing to it and commented, “Hey bro, you’re talented.”
Kelo has taken advantage of the current spotlight and dropped a new single, entitled, “Artaway”. He used a photo of him freestyling to J. Cole as the cover of the song, which was great promo.
The single caught the attention of our playlist curators and has been placed on our “Indie Vibes Only” and “HomeBase Radio Discovery” playlists.
Kelo currently has just 11 monthly Spotify listeners at the time of this writing, but as more people are beginning to find out about this talented artist, that number is sure to go up.
He also has his own business, called Coffee Black House, which hosts events and has its own podcast.
