Jack is back!! Jack Harlow has just dropped his first R&B album, entitled, ‘Monica’. Released on Friday, March 13, 2026, it has already reached #1 on Apple Music & iTunes R&B charts.
With the release of his album came a music video to the first song and first single from the album, “Trade Places”.

An early fan favorite in the U.S. is “Move Along”. “All of My Friends” and “Lonesome” are charting at #1 and #2 in, wait for it – – UAE.
Jermaine Paul, Ravyn Lenae, Omar Apollo, and Mustafa are some featured guest vocals on the album, and jazz artist Robert Glasper is also featured playing the piano throughout.
In a recent interview on New York Times Popcast, Jack revealed that he ditched an album project that he had been working on for two years because it was not “exciting” to him.
When the host asked him why he did choose R&B over other genres that other white artists have tended to “retreat” to in the past, Jack replied:
“I got blacker…. I love Black music. I love the sound of Black music…”

He went on to say, “…I also came to the decision, I’m proud to say, off of what feels good in my ear. I love R&B music. I love the sound of soft, intimate, melodic music. So I want to be understood. I want to write melodies that invite people to sing along…
I’ve always loved D’Angelo. I’ve always loved Erykah. I’ve always loved the intimacy and plush quality of that music, and if you look at my discography, there’s little hints of this…”
Jack is the definition of an artist that does not allow stereotypes to limit his sound.

Today is also Jack’s birthday! Happy birthday, Jack
