Drake Responds to Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” By Rapping Over It On Sexyy Red’s “U My Everything”

Drake may have let the beef go with Kendrick Lamar (a.k.a. he took that “L”), but he welcomes to continue with his Metro Boomin beef, as he raps over Metro’s “BBL Drizzy” beat in his feature on Sexyy Red’s “U My Everything”, track 4 of her newly released album, ‘In Sexyy We Trust’.

“BBL Drizzy” became rapidly popular on all social platforms when Metro Boomin announced a beat giveaway contest with it for artists to use to make their own freestyles to the beat. The beat was created as a response to Drake’s diss of Metro Boomin in “Family Matters”, as Metro mocked alleged cosmetic surgery done on Drake.

We do not feel that the news of this song overshadows Sexyy Red’s album release, instead we feel that it actually helps it, because Drake is still a superstar with a humongous fanbase despite his loss to K. Dot, and the song is a low-key banga, produced by Tay Keith. The song has an awkward catchiness to it, as Sexyy Red purposely sings off-key in it, professing her love for Drake and continuing along with the storyline that they might possibly “go together”, even saying in the song, “N**** we go together, tell them h*es we go together”… 👀

The 14-song album comes just in time for the summer with some club ready tracks. It includes hit single, “Get It Sexyy”, a steamy song feature by Lil Baby called “Lick Me”, a banging beat feature by Mike WiLL Made-It on “Outside”, and others.

“U My Everything” was placed on our Street Love HomeBase Radio playlist on Spotify, preview below.
