On June 24th, On June 24th, legendary Harlem rapper and actor/podcaster, Cam’Ron, announced on his Instagram that he signed a $750,000 book deal with Simon and Schuster, who are known as one of the “Big Five” publishers with worldwide reach. The autobiography is untitled at the moment, but he hopes to release it in February 2026.
In the press release, it states that the book will be an:
“unfiltered look into Cam’ron’s rise from the streets of Harlem to the top of the rap game, and his evolution into a respected media personality, fashion figure, and businessman.”
Cam’ron further stated:
“I’m happy to have this deal done. Hopefully, the book will be released February of 2026 and that everyone can take something from my memoir when they read it.”
This was not the first major deal that Cam’ron has celebrated this year. On June 17th, he announced a “multi-million dollar” deal with Revolt for his new celebrity news podcast, “Talk With Flee!”, which launches at the end of July.
During the announcement of that deal, he shared a sentimental statement regarding his late mother:
“this ain’t a run I’m on. It’s a f—ing marathon. My mom is up in heaven working. Miss and love you.”
Earlier this year, he also released an independent film, entitled, Is It A Crime, under his company, Killa’ Entertainment, which he produced and starred in. It is streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.
