Angela Renee Simmons has officially launched her music career as a spoken word artist, Angela Renee, with the release of her first single, “Run To”.
The song was released on Friday, March 13th, and features the legendary rapper Jadakiss and melodic vocals of rising songwriter/singer Résa.
Angela’s lyrics reflect on emotions of depression, stress, love, and encourages self-honesty and accountability; pausing, facing fears directly, and looking inward rather than escaping:
