In a new freestyle video posted to his social media on Monday, January 12th, Jackson, Mississippi native, Akeem Ali, boasted that he thinks he is better than Lil Wayne lyrically:
“I think I’m better than Wayne bar for bar at this point.”
He captioned the video post with:
“Really better than everybody tbh 🤷🏾♂️”
His bold remarks have sparked a debate among hip hop fans.
One fan commented, “Definitely not but you still nice!!!”
Mac Sauce Beats wrote, “You can’t be better than someone who inspired you. You’re definitely nice though keep doing ya thing! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥”
Another wrote, “Bar for bar you got it. You got ya own lane right now. Mark my words, you gone be the King of that flow soon!”

Akeem, also known as “Keemy Casanova”, from his viral 2020 hit single, has been frequently compared to the likes of legends André 3000 and Suga Free.
In a 2021 XXL Magazine interview, he said he grew up listening to Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, The Game, Boosie BadAzz, Usher, and Michael Jackson.
