Hip Hop’s Hall of Fame Moment: Salt-N-Pepa and Outkast Inducted [Video]

Congratulations to Salt-N-Pepa and Outkast on their inductions into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

A big salute to them for being pioneers of Hip Hop and for your contributions to music, culture, and the evolution of a genre that continues to inspire generations.

The 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place on Saturday, November 8th, in Los Angeles at Peacock Theater.

Salt-N-Pepa were inducted by Missy Elliott. They performed many of their hits, including “Shoop”, “Whatta Man” with En Vogue, “Let’s Talk About S*x”, and “Push It”. They wore their multi-colored jackets during “Push It”, bringing nostalgia to their performance.

Spinderella is the first female DJ ever to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame – mad props.

OutKast was honored with a star-studded tribute, led by Donald Glover, who presented their induction. The celebration featured performances from Big Boi himself, along with JID, Doja Cat, Tyler, the Creator, Janelle Monáe, and Killer Mike.
