Crypto.com Pulls the Plug on Kanye’s YZY Money

Following an initial announcement on October 9th, Ye’s YZY Money memecoin has officially been restricted from the Crypto.com app, as of today, October 17th, 2025. Any remaining balances have been automatically converted to USDC.

No explanation was provided as to why his memecoin was restricted, however it is not the only cryptocurrency that was restricted today. ARCH (Archway) was also restricted. It was a blockchain governance coin.

Restrictions are not very common, but have been known to happen. Possible reasons may include but are not limited to: high risk, project abandonment, stricter listing standards, or regulatory pressure/uncertainty.

Although YZY Money was restricted on Crypto.com, it remains on other platforms.

As of the time of this article, it is currently valued at $0.41 per coin on Bitget.
